Volunteers in a language camp may be responsible for a range of tasks, depending on their skills and experience. These tasks may include:
- Kitchen assistance: Volunteers are asked to help our cooks with meal preparation and afterwards with the dishwashing, after every meal.
- Housekeeping: language camps are typically crowded and action-packed locations and things can get really messy really fast. Our volunteers are tasked with maintaining the hygiene of the camp on the highest level possible, throughout the week.
- Providing logistical support: Volunteers may help with tasks such as setting up classrooms, arranging transportation, and organizing meals and accommodations for participants.
- Providing emotional support: Language learning can be challenging, and volunteers may be called upon to provide emotional support and encouragement to participants who are struggling.
Overall, volunteers play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment in a language camp. Their dedication and enthusiasm can make a real difference in the experience of language learners, helping them to build confidence and make progress in their language studies.
