PART-TIME VOLUNTEERS

Part-time volunteers are a mix of a student and a staff member.
During the mornings, they will attend 3h of language lessons every day, from Monday till Friday, and after lunch - they will join our volunteering team for the rest of the day.
They are also responsible for helping to create a supportive and welcoming environment for language learners, facilitating language practice and cultural exchange, and assisting with the logistics of the program.
There is a fee for part-time volunteers - 750CHF per week.
Before you join a certain camp, make sure that we teach a language that you would like to learn at that specific camp location! We teach different languages in every camp:

Volunteers in a language camp may be responsible for a range of tasks, depending on their skills and experience. These tasks may include:
SHIFTS: 2-4h per day (on average around 2h), with one complete day off per week
BENEFITS: Full-board (breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, midnight chocolate fountains) accommodation (in a shared room with other staff members, divided by gender), language lessons (3h per day, from Monday till Friday), 3 excursions per week

- Kitchen assistance: Volunteers are asked to help our cooks with meal preparation and afterwards with the dishwashing, after every meal.
- Housekeeping: language camps are typically crowded and action-packed locations and things can get really messy really fast. Our volunteers are tasked with maintaining the hygiene of the camp on the highest level possible, throughout the week.
- Providing logistical support: Volunteers may help with tasks such as setting up classrooms, arranging transportation, and organizing meals and accommodations for participants.
- Providing emotional support: Language learning can be challenging, and volunteers may be called upon to provide emotional support and encouragement to participants who are struggling.
